The Day In Pictures

So what do you get when 28 keen crafters pack a room, well lots of this really...

Can you see how empty the hall looks after we have finished cleaning!

We were disappointed that the weather wasn't kind enough to us to allow a group photo outside the hall but fingers crossed that next month will be sunny enough for tea on the lawn and pictures outside!

We loved seeing finished LO's and projects and love it even more when people take an idea and tweek it with their own style to create something just that bit different from the example:D

Here is what Anna created on Saturday...

From the first class kit

and from her own supplies

We hope to share some more designs soon as they come in.

May Crop

Photos coming real soon but for now a copy of the email that has been sent to those that attended yesterday just incase your ISP hides it somewhere!

Afternoon Ladies,

We wish to say a big thank you to everyone who came along to our launch
Create & Co Crop yesterday, we thoroughly enjoyed the day and hope that
you did too.

It was lovely to see so many happy crafters in one room and although the
sun didn't shine enough to get outside and take a group photo we do have a
few snapshots of the day that we will be popping on the Create & Co Blog
later, if you have any pictures of your finished classes please do email
them over and we will put these onto the Blog too:D

Nicola's delicious cupcakes sure did give a sugar boost to keep us
crafting into late evening and many of you that sampled the takeaway menu
from the Douglas Bader pub gave the thumbs up to the food being really
lovely, reasonable prices and piping hot!

We learn new ways of making life that little bit easier as we go along and
are looking out for some small pop up bins for each table so that the
collection of rubbish small and large is a simple process at the end of
the day. We have to take all our rubbish back with us and we are hoping
that this way will make that a simple and quick clean up task with all the
smaller bin rubbish going into just one large sack at the entrance as we
all leave.

We do hope you found the Newsletter interesting as well as informative
with all the details of what you will need to bring for June's Crop Class
Kit (included in the crop fee of just £7.50). Don't forget to look on the
Blog during the month for peeks of the class and further details of the
day's activities - like the surprise 'lucky dip' presents we handed out
this month:D

If you have any feedback or any suggestions of thingsyou would like to
see or have at our Create & Co Crop do let us know and we will work hard
to see what we can do.

Once again we thank you all for filling the room with happy faces, many
laughs and inspirational company,

Eileen, Janice, Lisa, Lorraine & Nicola

Tesco is a 5 minute drive away, the pub next to us also does takeaways such as pizza, jacket potatoes and baguettes and there is also some shops close by and only a minute walk away if you would rather grab something on the day!

ScrapaGoGo Shop will be onsite that day and as always we can take cash and debit/credit cards, please if possible NO cheques unless arranged prior with us under certain circumstances.

We will be starting the day at 9.30am and run through until 10pm, we have complied a time table for the day so you can see when the Mini Classes will be taught:

Eileen's Breath Of Fresh Air

Today we share Eileen's example, the Spring tones and colours really are like a breath of fresh air...

You can see just how well you can create a LO making your own embellishments from cutting out elements of the patterned paper!

Janice's Example

This morning we share Janice's example using May Sketch...

Although the same sketch you can see the different looks you can achieve from the same sketch when using different supplies and adding or taking away the odd element from the sketch.

Lisa's Example

Sketch For May

Each month within our printed Newsletter handed out at Create & Co we have a new sketch for you all, we also will ensure that this sketch is showcased on the Blog prior to the crop so you can bring along supplies and photos needed to complete the sketch.

For May this sketch is combined with our free classes but of course you can also re created it again and again by simply rotating the sketch for a different look.

Later this week we will be sharing what the team have been making using the sketch as inspiration.
