Extra Value Page Kit Take Two!

Here is the second page kit we will have available at the end of this month when we meet again for Create & Co!

Lisa has designed a fun page for you to use as inspiration or follow to the tee, Lisa used one 6x4 portrait photo in black and white.

The colours are fun and funky and the Kit features some special journal cards and design spots that SJ Dowsett designed for November 2009 Go2Pieces which are totally cool!

Extra Value Page Kits

We love the fact that Create & Co can INCLUDE a really great class kit each month WITHIN the Crop fee of just £7.50, but have also listened to your ideas and taken on board the wishes of those that would also like more page kits to keep them busy throughout the day without the need to bring lots of stash and tools.

With those wishes and requests in mind ScrapaGoGo are happy to be able to supply a small quanity of page kits complete with instructions for sale at each crop, these page kits will cost just £3 each month and you will have enough supplies to complete the design in the instructions - bargain!

To kick start this element we are happy to say that there are two to choice from and here is a peek of the first which feaures a rather cool stamped title, these stamps are within the tool library at Create & Co so you will be able to recreate your own on the day.

A Guest Sketch Example

We love it when readers who can't make the crop have a go at sketches, it is the next best thing to being able to attend in person!

Sheena has been using June's Sketch this week to create this stunning design...

Sheena says:

"I saw this sketch on the Create & Co blog & knew exactly what I wanted to scrap.
Matthew had recently made a bench from start to finish all on his own for a scout badge.
The 3 pics would be an ideal way to show all the hard work he put in.

The papers are Sassafrass and Graphic 45, the letters are October Afternoon & Sassafrass plus a mixture of embellishments."

Anyone else like to share their creations?

Nicola Loves Lumpy Bumpy!

Nicola loves lumpy bumpy LO's with lots of texture and dimension, she don't really 'do' straight lines or measuring and likes to layer up as much as she can too just as you can see from Nicola's June Sketch example...

Wednesday 9 June 2010

Rotated!

If you have loved using a sketch and want to reuse it with a twist then simply rotate the sketch as Lorraine has done here with June's Sketch to give your design a different look ...

Lorraine always likes to add a little quirky or cute element, she LOVES Sassafras and October Afternoon for there ranges with those little design traits! As you can see from this design Lorraine couldn't resist adding some little toadstools from Paperchase:D

Eileen's Take On June's Sketch

Below you can take a look at Eileen's interpretation of June's Sketch...

This stunning design can definately be noticed as Eileen's style as she described it back in March.

"Eileen loves clean and simple lines, adores 'white space' and finds it extremely difficult to create busy LOs and does't do freestyle! Eileen finds herself visually drawn to clusters of embellishments so this is a style that she oftened repeats in one form or another. Oh and paint has only recently become part of her vocabulary!!!"

June Sketch - Take One

Back in March we introduced ourselves and described our own personal scrapbooking style's, here is what Lisa had to say:

"I love really plain one photo layouts, you know the one's 'all clustered up in a corner'! Every time I try to add more it always looks too busy. I love Cosmo Cricket papers and adore the quirkiness of Sassafras too, especially when teamed with white or black cardstock."

You can definately see Lisa's style coming through on this bright and funky design although still using the June Sketch she hasn't let that damper or contain her own true style which is exactly what Create & Co is all about, offering a friendly place that supports everyone's individual style and celebrating what we do best, together once a month:D

Tomorrow we share more of June's Sketch examples.

Sunday 6 June 2010

Flag It Up!

Our last close up peek if class examples is being shared below today, Janice has used the little page tab 'flags' within her mini book to mark her pages... I wonder how many uses everyone will find on the day!

Next we will be be sharing some images and peek of our take on June's Sketch.

Saturday 5 June 2010

Bunting Aplenty

The bunting element of this kit is so pretty and prints lovely and vibrant so it really does bring that special finishing touch as you can see here in a peek of Lisa's design...

We do hope seeing all the peeks is helping you select other things you wish to bring to take part in the class and add to, other tools we have all used will be available to borrow on the day but if you have a scalloped border punch, a cropadile and sewing thread and needle these would be a real help to you.

More Clues...

Today we have peek number three for you all, Eileen has created a 12x12 LO with the Elle's Studio Document Summer Kit and instead of 2010 (well simply because it isn't quite here yet:lol:) Eileen has relived a Summer past.

More coming tomorrow!

Can you tell we have simply loved this project!

First Design Peek

As promised we have the first of five peeks today!

This little close up peek is a small section of Lorraine's design with June's Kit...

This Kit can be used in so many different ways but to help you on your way all five of us have created something just that bit different with the supplies. Instructions for how we created each design will be available on the day and you can take whatever ideas you like, add your own and come up with a truly unique creation!

We love to encourage creativity so that you can find your own style which is why we have created our examples in our very own personal style and hope that armed with five design examples and other ideas you will find it an enjoyable experience on the discovery of your unique style and find the journey a fun one along the way!
