Our first lucky

free crop winner was .........

Emma, who as you would expect was one very happy scrapper. If you want to be a winner and crop for free, you know what to do! Yep leave us a comment here on the blog or on our Facebook page.

Yesterday like every crop day went in too quickly but it sure was a good day with plenty of scrapping, chatting, laughing and shopping.

Oh and the odd cuppa or two!

Thanks to everyone who comes and supports Create & Co, it really is the best place to spend the last Saturday of the month.

Thursday 23 June 2011

Just want to give you

the heads up ...............

ScrapaGoGo shop is planning to be at this month's crop. So in addition to acrylic block and ink pad(s) some pennies (for the odd little stash purchase that might just slip into you basket - it happens you know) might be sensible.

We've only had 3 commentator so far this month, so if that's you you're in with a good chance of cropping for free when that one lucky winner is drawn from the hat on Saturday. If you want to be in with a chance to crop for free leave a comment here or here

See you Saturday.

So much to show

and so little time to show it in has meant we still  have 2 sketch LOs to share and today's the day.

Lorraine's been digging into June's ScrapaGoGo's kit Things to Make and Do to create this LO featuring photo of the one and only Harry. The LO is true to the sketch and we love the repetition of the number 9, ties it all to together very nicely.

Eileen has used these rather unseasonal photos and the sketch as a jump start to creating her LO. You can still see elements from the sketch but the finished LO looks quite different and indeed this is the beauty of sketches.

As always the sketch with be on the newsletter and the actual LOs will be available for you to have a closer look at on crop day, which is just 3 short sleeps away.

Monday 20 June 2011

Well we've

come to expect great things from our Nicola and once again she's come up with the goods.

Feast your eyes on this little beauty...........

The books rings used are not part of the Value Kit, if you don't have any book rings in your stash it can as easily be bound with pretty ribbons, cable ties or treasury tags.

Nicola has used the 6 inner pages to create alternating journaling/photo pages and for consistency has used B & W throughout but of  various sizes. Max size for photos is determined by 6" x 6" size of the mini book.

You still have time to reserve your kit if you'd like.

Saturday 18 June 2011

For not a lot,

in fact just £3, you get enough stash to complete a LO, a mini book or a project with instructions so you can complete it either at the crop with the creator on hand for help or at a time to suit yourself. At Create & Co it's called the Value Kit.

This months Value Kit looks like this ..............

The finished article is still under wraps but not for much longer.

As with the last couple of Value Kits if this is the kit/project for you email create&co@scrapagogo.co.uk today to reserve your kit as we only have a limited number available. Kits will be allocated on a first come first served basis either by email or in person on the day.

Friday 17 June 2011

Might we

suggested that an acrylic block and ink pad(s) be on your list of supplies to bring for Saturday's crop. Obvious if these are things that you don't own there are bound to be some that can be borrowed, so no worries.

From the supplies in the kit (all part of your crop fee),

Nicola has come up with this classy little number ...........

and check out that gorgeous tag as well.

We've got more eye candy to come including this month's Value Kit sneak peaks and more sketch LOs so do check back.

Don't forget that if you leave a comment either on the blog here or on our Facebook page you could be in with the chance of a free crop. The names of everyone who's commented will go in the hat on the day, so what are you waiting for.

Next in the spotlight

is Nicola's take on this month's sketch featuring the fabulous, the furry, the fantastically fussy ......................

Missy Moo

We're loving that LO Nicola and that cat looks like she could get away with almost anything with that adoring look in the middle photo!

Don't forget that if you'd like to come and join us on the 25th June or any of the crop dates drop us an email at create&co@scrapagogo.co.uk or telephone 01728 62713 and reserve yourself a seat for the day. With ample table space, kit and light refreshments (tea, coffee, hot chocolate, squash & biscuits available all day) all included in the £7.50 crop fee.

How about

a peek of this month's sponsored class ...........

This month's sponsored class is from Design Objective and includes a mini set of acrylic stamps, kraft card blank/envelope, 2 pieces of Bazzill cardstock and ribbon. Plus one of ScrapaGoGo's fab little Bespoke Design Cards.

Nicola is weaving her magic with the kit and once she's ready to reveal her creation we'll share here, of course.

Wednesday 8 June 2011

Let's get the ball

rolling with this month's sketch.

This sketch offers the opportunity to scrap three photos, they could be three identical photos, a sequence of photos, different photos taken from one event or maybe the same subject but over several years. The choices are almost limitless.

For her LO Janice has kept true to the sketch, using 3 photos of her daughter Katie and herself (from a recent photo shoot). Janice delved into her 'Over the Hills and Faraway' (May) ScrapaGoGo Kit to make this delightful LO.

Well that's all for now but check back soon for more sketch LOs and of course sneak peeks of the Sponsored Class kit as well as the Value Kit.

Happy Scrapping
